Training

CTAD offers tailor-made training courses to help youget the most out of Target Skills. The training covers both technical aspects and how to use the resources effectively in your teaching. It is largely practical and hands-on, and is delivered in a friendly and supportive way.

The fee

The fee for the day is £750 plus costs. VAT is charged extra. This covers:

• all planning and any helpline technical support required for installation of software
• preparation and production of handouts
• one trainer (for the agreed maximum number of participants – 10 is usually ideal; 12 is the maximum).
• follow-up as necessary.

Costs are charged extra. This would include second-class rail fare or car hire and petrol costs, overnight stay if necessary, minimal subsistence. An estimate of this can be provided before the event.

For numbers over 12 we are happy to provide a second tutor at a cost of £500 plus VAT for the day. We can then discuss different ways of managing the day depending on the needs of the group.

Cancellation charges

The following scale of charges applies when a confirmed booking is cancelled:

31 to 60 days – 25% of the fee
15 to 30 days – 50% of the fee
8 to 14 days – 75% of the fee
7 days or less – 100% of the fee.
